Igbo In America urged to vote in US elections

As the countdown continues to the already contentious presidential election ? of Tuesday November 3, 2020, an additional voice in support of the ideals of the American effort on democratic governance has come from the World Igbo Congress (WIC). The USA headquartered international organization across the North American continents representing the vibrant, academic record breaking immigrants from the south eastern section of Nigeria, ethnically known as the Igbo.

The chairman of the Board of Directors of the organization, Professor Anthony Ejiofor in an exclusive interview with USAfrica magazine and usafricaonline.com Publisher Dr. Chido Nwangwu said that “members of our Igbo community, Nigerians and other Africans who are registered to vote have shown as a matter fact very impressive efforts towards The exercise of their civic duties.“

All of the major cities in the United States include citizens who are African immigrants.
